"Energy" is essential for us to live.
However, "energy" is obtained from an act of burning oil or coal, which entails emission of CO2.
On the Earth, everyone is blessed with sunlight. A "solar battery," which converts sunlight into electric energy, is the earth-friendly "energy device" by itself.
Our annual production of solar wafers can accommodate the power consumption of 64,000 homes
Total power output of our wafers in full production : 210 MWp (= 210,000 kWp)
Annual power consumption of a general household : 3.6 MWh/year (Monthly average: 300 kWh × 12 months = 3,600 kWh)
Final PV system yield (Actual operating time per year) : 1,100 hours assumed
Therefore, 210 MWp × 1,100 hours = Annual accumulated power output of 231,000 MWh
If this is used for annual power consumption of general households, approximately 64,000 homes can be accommodated (231,000 MWh ÷ 3.6 MWh ≈ 64,000 households).
